Consultant Profile - Kathy Hatchett, Ed.S

With over 30 years of education experience in Georgia and California, Kathy has specialized in creating inclusive learning environments and fostering strong school-community relationships. As a former ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages)/Title III Director, ESOL teacher, and Spanish teacher, she has dedicated her career to supporting multilingual learners and their families.


As a fluent Spanish speaker, Kathy has effectively bridged cultural and linguistic gaps, significantly increasing parent engagement and empowering families to take an active role in their children’s education. Kathy's leadership initiatives have enhanced academic outcome and created a more welcoming environment for diverse communities.


Her commitment to equity and excellence extends beyond the classroom. Kathy has successfully implemented strategies to support teachers, improve curriculum design, and provide professional development opportunities that reflect the needs of multilingual students.


Kathy holds advanced degrees in education and leadership and continues to inspire others by promoting plans that prepare students for success in an ever-changing world.

 

With a deep passion for education and a unique ability to connect with students, parents, and educators alike, Kathy continues to lead with vision, compassion, and a dedicated belief in the changing power of education.
